Project 3

Overview

Although text is a highly privileged form of communication in academic settings, it does have limitations, and it doesn't always offer the social impact on your given audience.

To expand your communication skills, we also use multimodal modes of communication.  Project 3 specifically focuses on the Five Professional Modes:

• Linguistic

• Visual

• Aural

• Gestural

• Somatic

Through in-class and online presentations, you'll use these modes to directly share ideas with your classmates.

Research Assignments

Slideshow Presentation

With 5 slides and 5-10 minutes, use information from three outside sources to share something interesting with your classmates on any topic.

Research Proposal

Present your plans for your Project 2 Research Paper.  This presentation can use slides, handouts, a video, or any other effective means of multimodal communication.
