Course Outline | Project 1 | Project 2 | Project 3
One of the most important aspects of learning is reflection. When we consider our past experiences, we want to look at four key questions:
What did I accomplish?
What went well?
What could have been improved?
How should I proceed next time?
These questions don't always have simple answers. Sometimes, we don't have the answers. If a project completely blows up in your face, you might be so confused that you don't even know where to begin evaluating your progress. On the other hand, if something goes so smoothly that you didn't even have to think about it, you might not have any idea of what do differently.
Even when there are good answers, they don't always feel helpful. You can have a situation where something went badly, but you know you couldnt' have done it better because you simply don't have the resources. And that's okay! It's important to acknowledge what can and cannot be done. You can't drive seven a thousand miles on half a gallon of gas any more than you can fight gravity.
